Factions

This supplement will help you create interesting and detailed towns, villages, organisations, guilds, and families (collectively called factions) for your world. It can provide you with a simple ecosystem of factions that can be managed in real time as you play the game. It does that by defining several keywords for each faction. Keywords that are loaded with meaning and help you make decisions for that faction and role play their members with little effort.

The end result is a top level overview of the factions that are relevant to your story. The ones that will be of interest to your players. As you play, the factions players interact the most will organically become more and more detailed. For the rest, you will have an easy to use reminder of what are they about, keeping your sessions consistent and memorable. There are also guidelines to create tension between factions and instructions how to resolve it depending on players’ actions.
